⏳ Maximum Limit: 90 Days (Extendable to 180 Only in Writing)
According to the Executive Regulations of the Labor Law, the maximum probation period is:
- 📅 90 days as an initial limit
- 📝 Can be extended to 180 days only by explicit written agreement
- ❌ May not be extended more than once
✅ What the Employee Is Entitled to During Probation
- Full agreed salary
- Protection from abuse
- If probation is passed: its days count from day one toward the end-of-service award (EOSB)
📜 Executive Regulations of the Labor Law — Probation Period: Does not exceed 90 days and counts toward the period of service upon completion.
💡 If the company terminates your contract at the end of the probation period without a documented reason — this is a dismissal that requires notice or pay in lieu of notice.
