💰 The Official Formula
According to the Domestic Workers Regulation:
End of Service Award = Monthly Salary × (Service Years ÷ 4)
Fractions of a year are calculated proportionally.
⚠️ The Key Difference
In the general Labor Law: half a month's wage for each year (for the first 5 years). For domestic workers: one full month for every 4 years — equivalent to about 12.5% of the annual salary.
📜 Domestic Workers Regulation — Ministry of Human Resources: The end-of-service award is equal to one month's wage for every four consecutive years.
📊 Example: Rhea worked for 6 years with a salary of $800 (SAR 3,000)
Years of service6 years
÷ 4 years= 1.5
× Monthly salary 3,000= SAR 4,500 ✅
